TMAS TELEMETRY - GSM Modem is designed to overcome many operational, monitoring and controlling issues for scattered remote sites and provide efficient and timely management of equipments, services and facilities. Emergency events such as fire, alarm, system failure can be detected at remote sites and notification can be sent out immediately via SMS to any mobile phone for Immediate attention and actions. Users can also send SMS to switch on/off different control devices that are connected to the TMAS - GSM Modem output.
The low cost TMAS GSM Modem is ideal for a wide range of applications. The modem can be used to make circuit switched data calls, making the unit suitable for accessing remote sites and systems. The SMS functionality enables the sending and receipt of text messages.
The TMAS GSM Modem is supplied in a rugged extruded aluminium enclosure making it suitable for use in a wide range of industrial and demanding environments. The unit connects directly to a PC via the DB-9 RS232 Cable interface for configuration. The integral SIM card holder accepts standard SIM cards of all network operators. The only other connections required are to 6-40Vdc power supply and Antenna (supplied separately).
Managing of large scale remote deployment is also made easy with TMAS central monitoring system (CMS). Configuration and management of TMAS - GSM Modem sites can be done wirelessly through the central monitoring system. The CMS also provides various management and reporting functions such as remote health check, remote polling of status, test report, alarm report, login report and many more.

SOLUTIONS:
Water Pump Monitoring
The TMAS GSM Modem is used for monitoring the dry contact signals from the pump controllers for e.g. power failure, pump trip, overflow and low water level. Upon any fault occurrence, the GSM Modem will send out predefined SMS messages to alert the pump contractors, the property officers as well as the town estate Central Monitoring Station (CMS).
Elderly Home Monitoring
The TMAS GSM Modem and PC Manager provide a low cost, simple and yet comprehensive solution for the service provider in elderly home monitoring. The modem monitor the pull cord, panic push button and RF pendant/wristband.
Data Center Monitoring
The TMAS GSM Modem monitor power failure, air quality threats (i.e. temperature and humidity) to the IT equipments, smoke and fire from data center hazards, liquid leaks from base pipes, human unusual activities for e.g. unauthorized access with malicious intent and etc.
